Dr. Julian Sham is the APAC Clinical Digital Transformation Lead at Roche Diagnostics.

He brings more than 34 years of experience in healthcare to the role, including more than 10 years as a practicing hospital doctor. He is passionate about how healthcare delivery can be augmented through Cloud and Health technologies, improving clinical engagement and stakeholder understanding to accelerate clinical solution design life cycles.

For the past 24 years, he has focused on healthcare technology and change management, managing healthcare projects involving IT implementations and clinical transformation across Europe, the United States, and Asia Pacific for both public sector and private organizations.

His prior roles include the APAC Health Leader for an international Cloud Services Provider, supporting customers in COVID-19 response, and as the APAC and MEA Clinical Lead for a Multi-National Consulting firm. In these roles, for the last 14 years In APAC, he has been engaged in public sector health solutions delivery with national platforms implementations to enable patient and provider engagement and workflow.

He currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee for Health Level Seven International (HL7 Singapore) and as a Vice Chair for APACMED’s Digital Health Reimbursement Committee.
