Mayank is a seasoned healthcare innovation and investment professional with over two decades of experience driving innovation to address unmet needs. At A*STAR, Mayank accelerates venture creation and growth in the health and biomedical area. In addition, he develops new programmes and initiatives that seek capital/talent/market access and adoption of ventures in new markets.

Prior to joining A*STAR, Dr Gurnani was Programme Director for the JUMPstart programme at the National University of Singapore. In addition, he was Faculty for various innovation and commercialization programmes providing mentorship and coaching new venture founders. Apart from his medical education, Dr Gurnani holds an MBA and a Masters in Health Economics.
