Our first co11ab seminar focused on digital health, sharing insights how startups collaborate with National Healthcare Group (NHG) and leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools.

💡𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀💡
➡️Susan Tan, AWS: AWS supports startups through 3 programs—AWS Activate, AWS Partner Network, and AWS Marketplace. It offers 200+ tools for developers to plug and play like Lego blocks, along with technical advice to build cost-effective system.
➡️Sengbeo Lee, taggle health: Digital health solutions take time to implement, so startups must be resilient. Creating a single app is not a sustainable business model—startups should consider unique selling points that larger players do not offer.
➡️Nansheng Shen, CoNEX Healthcare: Understanding the number of execution steps is crucial when designing solutions. Remembering key stakeholders’ names enhances communication and fosters future collaborations with more healthcare partners.
➡️Dr Hui Qing Violet Hoon, Tan Tock Seng Hospital: There is a strong demand for faster, better, and more affordable cardiovascular solutions due to the global burden of disease. At least six common risk factors are modifiable. AI has the potential to stratify risks, aid medication adherence, and predict acute events.
➡️Evangeline N., NHG: From pre-proof of concept to adoption, various national and NHG grants support innovative solutions. In collaboration with Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Centre of AI in Medicine (C-AIM) was launched recently in 2024 to leverage AI to enhance healthcare in mental health, elderly care, medical imaging, and cancer screening.
